Measure from root to ends with your hair dry and straightened. Very thick hair is priced one tier up because it takes longer to cut, dry and finish, your stylist tells you before starting.
Haircuts
Wash includedA haircut at Icon always starts with a consultation and a wash. Your stylist looks at your growth pattern, density and how you actually style your hair at home, then cuts wet and refines dry. The service is finished with a rough dry so you can see the shape; a full smooth blow-dry finish is the Icon Signature below.
Short
Above the shoulders 60 minBobs, pixies, crops and shoulder-skimming lobs. Most of the time goes into the outline and the weight at the back, where a short shape lives or dies.
Medium
Shoulder to chest 70 minThe most requested length. Extra time for layering and face-framing so the length keeps movement instead of hanging flat.
Long
Below the chest, or very thick hair 90 minLong or very dense hair takes longer to section, cut and check. Includes internal weight removal so length feels light rather than heavy.

Curly Hair, Cut & Blow Dry
Wash includedSpecialist curly hair services shaped around your natural curl pattern rather than against it. We look at your curls dry first to read the pattern and shrinkage, then wash, cut and style so the shape still works once it dries and springs up.

Is washing included in the haircut price?
Yes. A shampoo and conditioner wash at the basin is included in every haircut, every blow-dry and the Icon Signature at Icon Hair Salon Amsterdam. It is never charged separately.
What is the difference between a haircut and the Icon Signature?
A haircut includes the consultation, wash, cut and a rough dry finish. The Icon Signature adds a full, finished blow-dry with root lift and finishing products, so you leave completely styled.
How do you decide if my hair is short, medium or long?
Short is above the shoulders, medium is shoulder to chest, long is below the chest. Very thick hair is priced one tier up because it takes longer to cut, dry and finish. Your stylist confirms the tier before starting.
How long does an appointment take?
A haircut takes 60 to 90 minutes depending on length, the Icon Signature 70 to 100 minutes, a blow-dry 60 to 90 minutes, a curly cut 45 to 90 minutes, brow threading 15 to 35 minutes and a care treatment 30 to 45 minutes.
Can I choose my stylist?
Yes. Zeina and Sergei are both senior stylists at the same price. Zeina specialises in transformations, curly hair and brow threading; Sergei in precision cuts, bobs and sleek blow-dries. Pick your stylist when you book on Treatwell, or ask us on WhatsApp.
How much does a care treatment cost?
The care treatment is priced on consultation because the product amount depends on your hair's length, porosity and damage level. Your stylist confirms the price in the chair before starting, never afterwards.
Do you cut curly hair?
Yes. The curly cut is shaped around your natural curl pattern, assessed dry before the wash so the shape still works once the curls spring up. Curly cut starts at €75, curly blow-dry at €90 and cut with blow-dry at €130.
Do you offer bridal hair styling in Amsterdam-Zuid?
Yes. The Icon Signature Bridal Experience is €250 for 2 hours 30 minutes at Marathonweg 21-23 in Amsterdam-Zuid and includes a bridal consultation, luxury wash, deep-conditioning mask, care and repair treatment, scalp massage, blow-dry preparation, bespoke bridal styling, veil and accessory placement, brow shaping, a shine and anti-frizz finish, a final touch-up and refreshments. Hair extensions and accessories are not included.
Which stylist does the bridal service?
Bridal is performed exclusively by Zeina, Icon Hair Salon's Creative Director. She handles the consultation, the styling and the final touch-up herself, so the look you agree on beforehand is the look you get on the day.
How do I book the Icon Signature Bridal Experience?
Bridal is booked by consultation, not online. Message us on WhatsApp at +31 6 4440 4881 with your wedding date, preferred appointment time and inspiration photos, and Zeina will plan a personal consultation before confirming the appointment.
Do you offer men's haircuts?
No. Icon Hair Salon is a women's hair salon in Amsterdam-Zuid: women's cuts, blow-dry, styling, curly cutting, care treatments and brow threading.

We are open every day of the week from 09:00 to 20:00, including weekends, so evening and Sunday appointments are available.
Can I walk in or do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome when there is space in the diary, but booking online through Treatwell guarantees your slot, your stylist and the right amount of chair time for your hair length.
How much does a women's haircut cost in Amsterdam-Zuid?
A women's haircut at Icon Hair Salon starts at €59.99 with the wash included. The final price depends on length: short, medium, or long and thick. Every tier and duration is listed on this page before you book.
Which languages do your stylists speak?
Our team speaks English, Dutch, Arabic and Russian, so you can have your consultation in the language you are most comfortable explaining your hair in.
Is there parking near the salon?
Yes. Marathonweg and the surrounding Stadionbuurt streets have paid on-street parking, and tram and bus connections from Amsterdam-Zuid station and Olympiaplein stop within a few minutes' walk.
