A blow-dry at Icon is a full service, not a quick dry-off. It starts with a wash suited to your scalp and ends with a shape that holds: smooth and glossy, soft movement, or volume through the root, depending on what you ask for. Tell the stylist where you're going and they will build the finish around it rather than around a house style.

Timing and price follow hair length, short, medium, and long or thick, because a shoulder-length bob and dense hair past the shoulder blades are genuinely different jobs. Blow-drys are the service Amsterdam-Zuid books at short notice: before an event on Apollolaan, an evening in the Museumkwartier, a client dinner in Zuidas, or a Saturday that turned into something. Because we're open until 20:00 every day, a same-evening slot is often still there; the earlier in the day you book, the more choice you have.

If your ends are dry, coloured or heat-worn, ask about adding a care treatment before the blow-dry. It takes very little extra time and the finish holds noticeably longer. Curly and wavy hair can also be finished with a diffuser or styled smooth, say which you want when you book so we reserve the right amount of time.
