Bridal Hair in Amsterdam Zuid, The Icon Signature Bridal Experience

Your wedding day is the one appointment that cannot be rescheduled, run late or come out "almost right". That is why bridal hair at Icon Hair Salon Amsterdam, Marathonweg 21-23 in Amsterdam Zuid, is not a normal styling slot. It is a dedicated 2 hour 30 minute experience for €250, performed from start to finish by one person: Zeina, our Creative Director.

Who does the bridal service

Only Zeina. She does the consultation, the wash and treatment, the styling, the veil placement and the final touch-up herself. Nothing is handed over halfway. Hair extensions and accessories are not included. Everything else is inside the price; there is no add-on invoice at the end.

Why two and a half hours

Bridal hair fails on time pressure, not on technique. Two and a half hours leaves room for the treatment to work, for the hair to be dried properly rather than rushed, for the veil to be placed and re-placed, and for a genuine touch-up once the style has settled. Amsterdam humidity is real, and the anti-frizz finish at the end is what keeps the shape from dropping between the ceremony and the evening.

How to prepare

Wash your hair the day before, not the morning of; hair with a day of natural texture holds pins far better than freshly washed hair. Bring your veil, your combs or pins, and a photo of your dress neckline. If you are colouring or having a treatment before the wedding, plan it two to three weeks ahead so the colour has settled. When to book

Book the consultation early, Saturdays between May and September fill first. Bridal is arranged by consultation rather than online booking, so message us on WhatsApp with your wedding date, preferred time and any inspiration photos, and Zeina will plan the consultation from there.

Convenient for Zuid weddings

Marathonweg sits minutes from Apollobuurt, Stadionbuurt, Oud-Zuid and the Museumkwartier, and roughly ten minutes from [Zuidas](/hair-salon-zuidas), practical if your venue, hotel or photographer is in Amsterdam Zuid. We open at 09:00 every day of the week, including weekends, so an early bridal slot is possible.
