Hoofddorppleinbuurt is a neighbourhood of regulars: the market on Hoofddorpplein, the cafés on Sloterkade, families who have lived on the same street for years. Icon Hair Salon sits a short walk over the bridge at Marathonweg 21-23, which makes it the closest premium salon for most of the buurt without leaving the area behind.

The service list is the one a neighbourhood actually uses: women's wash and cut, blow dry and styling, the full wash-cut-blow-dry, restorative care treatments and eyebrow threading with tinting. Prices are tiered by hair length and published in full, so there is no surprise at the till.

We're open every day from 09:00 to 20:00, Sundays and Mondays included. Walk in if you're passing and there is space and we have space; booking online is the safer bet on weekends.

Getting here takes five to ten minutes on foot depending on which side of Hoofddorpplein you start from, or three minutes by bike over the Schinkel. There is paid street parking on Marathonweg. Zeina and Sergei work in English, Dutch, Arabic and Russian.
